Youtube Channels to watch in 2017

Lively Stones is a huge supporter of Christian content creators and we do our best to promote them as much as possible. So we’ve compiled a short list of some amazing Youtube channels to watch out for this year. If you like their content please make sure you subscribe and spread the love!

  1. Beloved Always

I recently discovered this channel and my only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner! The name ‘Beloved Always’ is a declaration of our identity as children of God (which I absolutely LOVE). What I really like about this channel is Yinka’s transparency. If you’ve watched any of my previous video reviews, you’ll know transparency is a HUGE deal for me. In my opinion, there is not enough of it within the body of Christ! A lot of people are struggling with certain sins and issues silently for fear of being judged or thinking that nobody else has been in the same position. But the truth is a lot of us are struggling or have struggled with the same thing. Revelation 12:11 says that we overcome the enemy by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. Testimonies are SO important. When I find channels that openly discuss sins and struggles my heart is overjoyed and Beloved Always is definitely one to watch. In the video below, Yinka talks about pride, specifically being a proud Christian. Her videos have really stirred up my Spirit to seek God regarding certain issues I was dealing with. She also did a video about gluttony (a sin which is hardly talked about) that I would (HIGHLY) recommend. Yinka’s videos are extremely helpful, she not only raises important issues, but also shares her experiences, what the Bible says about them and practical steps we can take to overcome.

2. Faithful With A Few

The first thing that really stood out to me with Tolu’s videos are how much they challenge me to do more and be more. The idea behind ‘Faithful With A Few’ is to encourage young people to diligently use their gifts and talents to serve and bless others.  I’m very much inspired by Tolu’s journey, from being the only black girl in her college at Cambridge University as well as her various mission trips through numerous countries in Asia. Her content also discusses many other topics from politics, to relationships and everything in between.

3. Unashamed Twinsz

I’m really blessed to call these two gorgeous ladies friends and I was really excited when they launched their channel!  Shelly and Abi were my connect group leaders at University and I’ve learnt so much from them. They’ve promised more content in the coming year, which I’m looking forward to. Check out the video below to find out more about them.

4.) Kingdom Ambassadors

Kingdom Ambassadors is a youth ministry that aims to equip young people with the word of God in order to represent Christ daily and live a life that is set apart for His glory. The ministry has recently branched out  by launching a Youtube channel featuring videos from the founder, Caitlyn Nunez. So far, she’s created a number of helpful videos including one on how to live for God in your youth, practical tips on Bible study and dating an unbeliever. I also really enjoyed her video addressing Christian girls who wear heavy makeup (linked below).

5.) Crowned in Faith

Another incredible channel to look out for this year. I don’t really know where to start with Nia, except to say she’s an amazing young lady with a heart for God and her videos are fire. You can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit when she speaks! Not too long ago, she did a video on the secret place which really enlightened me and inspired me to press in to God even more. I’d also recommend checking out her blog, where she’s shared testimonies of overcoming various issues including idolising makeup and dealing with lust and sexual temptation in her relationship.
